On September 3rd, NOVA FCT strengthened its connection to the industry by signing a cooperation protocol with NOS, one of the most prestigious Portuguese telecommunications companies.This partnership, which will last for three years, aims to promote and boost the development of the areas of Science, Engineering and Technology in Portugal, with special emphasis on the area of Telecommunications, through support for teaching and research.
The agreement between the two entities gives rise to a new scholarship for students of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in the area of Telecommunications, as well as the strengthening of cooperation in research and innovation activities, with the aim of boosting the transfer of technology and knowledge. In particular, this collaboration will boost opportunities for students, who will have access to curricular internships, development of master's dissertations and doctoral theses, as well as collaboration for the development of chairs.
