0 WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM? It is a scholarship intended for female students pursuing university studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Selected students will receive an award of up to US$1,500 (or local equivalent) for tuition for the 2024-2025 academic year. The scholarship is paid directly to the university in which the student is enrolled to cover tuition fees. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of each applicant's contributions to diversity, demonstrated leadership, and academic background.
WHO IS IT FOR? To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
• Be currently enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited university for the 2024-2025 academic year
• Be studying in Portugal.
• Be studying IT/Computer Science, Engineering (Automation, Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics), Telecommunications/IC or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrate a strong academic record.
• Exemplify leadership and demonstrate a passion for improving the inclusion of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology.
• Have sufficient proficiency in English to understand and communicate
